Cultural Discovery & Guided Boat Tour

Travel with See-Way More from Cornwall to Akwesasne Island and enjoy a 1.5-hour guided museum tour at the Native North American Travelling College. Founded by Dr. Ernest (Ernie) Kaientaronkwen Benedict, the College is dedicated to preserving and sharing Kanien’kehá culture and language.

Guests will explore exhibits highlighting Haudenosaunee history, traditional teachings, arts and crafts, legends, food origins, cultural protocols, and the impacts of colonization and residential schools through photos, videos, and personal stories.

Following the museum tour, enjoy a special strawberry beverage and pastry before travelling to Marina 200.

From there, board a boat with Mohawk Journeys for a two-hour guided experience on the water. Learn about environmental landmarks, cultural significance, and stories that continue to shape the lands and people of Akwesasne while taking in the beauty of the St. Lawrence River.

Nice words from nice people 😁

If you’re looking for something fun and different without a long drive, I can’t recommend See-Way More enough! Hassan creates amazing local day trips—think craft beer tastings, delicious eats, strolls through beautiful gardens, and exploring charming small-town shops.

As a cyclist, I also love his St. Lawrence shuttle service—it makes planning rides so much easier. His local knowledge, passion for supporting small businesses, and attention to detail make every tour feel personal and special.

Whether it’s a girls’ day, a team outing, or just a quick escape, all you have to do is hop on the bus and enjoy the ride.
